Coined “the world’s largest HVAC&R marketplace,” the AHR Expo began as the first International Heating and Ventilating Exposition in 1930.
That puts the upcoming Expo in Orlando, FL, in its 95th year (minus one for the pandemic). Burnham Holdings and its subsidiaries began exhibiting at the event decades ago and haven’t missed an AHR Expo since. This year is no different.
Burnham Commercial, Thermal Solutions and Bryan Boilers will be in booth 3348, and U.S. Boiler Company will be right next door, at booth 3342.
We’re also hosting our annual Burnham Holdings AHR Cocktail Reception on Sunday, February 9, beginning at 5:00 PM. The event will take place at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, 6000 Universal Studios Plaza #704 in Orlando. If you haven’t registered yet, you may do so at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/burnham-holdings-annual-ahr-cocktail-reception-tickets-1075694975629?aff=oddtdtcreator
We find that the expo provides an excellent opportunity to communicate with people from across the globe, whether that be OEM partners, vital members of our distribution chain, the mechanical engineers who specify our commercial products, the tradespeople that install our boilers, tanks, heat pumps and radiators, trade media representatives, or the HVACR students that attend the expo to learn. The show fosters an unparalleled level of engagement and collaboration.
Sustainability and energy efficiency have become key AHR themes in recent years, reflecting the growing global emphasis on environmental sustainability. Many exhibitors and speakers at the AHR Expo focus on solutions that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, and the products we’ve developed in recent years reflect that goal.
Last year at AHR, U.S. Boiler Company launched the Ambient Air-to-Water heat pump and accessories, including a dual-dual fuel controller and all components needed to pair the heat pump with a fossil fuel or electric resistance boiler for supplemental heat. Since that introduction, the heat pump has been installed across the country and in Canada. Interestingly enough, many of those installations took place in the Rocky Mountain states, at high elevation where severe winter conditions often occur.
On the commercial side of the business, the Thermal Solutions Arctic water-tube boiler continues to be a high-efficiency performer. Designed with serviceability as the number one feature, the Arctic is unique in that it features removeable, flexible heat exchanger tubes that can be pulled out for cleaning or individual tube replacement if needed. The advantage? Condensing performance with lifecycle advantages similar to conventional commercial boilers.
You’ll find the Arctic, along with the newer AMP boiler, in booth 3348. The AMP has gained a reputation for compact, high efficiency performance paired with one of the industry’s most intuitive, capable commercial boiler controls.
The Alta boiler, by U.S. Boiler Company, made its debut at the 2022 AHR expo in Las Vegas. Since then, it’s accomplished exactly what we intended: increase the number of installing contractors who’re comfortable offering their customers a high-efficiency boiler option. The Alta is a condensing boiler designed to make installation, start-up and troubleshooting easier than ever before. The U.S. Boiler Company booth will also feature the Citadel boiler, designed for installations that require a great deal of heating capacity.
For customers looking for an electric heating solution other than a heat pump, we offer two electric boilers. The Ambient Electric Boiler is available from U.S. Boiler company in three sizes ranging from 55 to 82 MBH. For commercial applications, look to the BE and BH Series electric boilers from Bryan Boilers.
The BE Electric hot water and steam boilers are designed for medium to high-capacity applications, with capacities from 196 to 9,828 MBH. The compact BH Series serves low to medium size applications with capacities from 98 to 1,280 MBH.
Again, we welcome you to stop at our booths at any point during the show, and we hope to see you at the Cocktail Reception on Sunday night.
